Objectives : Offer a continuous support to the existing tools with improved functionalities. The integration activities of Euro-NF comprise three major areas for obtaining collective intelligence supported by electronic tools: Integrated Knowledge Management: distribution and locating of technical knowledge in the consortium, procedures for the consolidation of new wisdom, and automated mechanisms for secure collaboration Provision of teaching material and information Ph.D. curricula: access to lecture material, on-line course, and information on Ph.D. courses Application and support of state-of-the-art electronic collaboration tools: deployment and support of group collaboration to accelerate the dissemination of knowledge and increase the productivity of jointly executed activities.

Description of work The NoE has or will implement the following tools and procedures for simplifying the integration and communication among the Euro-NF-partners: Set up and continuous support of the Euro-NF web containing:  the major information on the NoE, such as contact persons, cartography of the jointly executed research activities, and the status and results of the integration activities. membership management and authentication services a searchable mailing list archive and a news server calendar tool a searchable multi-media document archive, e.g. for research reports, online course, etc. Evaluation of major electronic collaboration tools with respect to their functionality, suitability and costs, involving possibly experts in cognitive and social behaviour.
