Objectives : Traffic control and congestion control in the future Internet are common themes and objectives of the five workpackages of the JRA.2 activity. This workshop has the objective of allowing the researchers from these work packages to present their work in a public forum ensuring early dissemination of results and promoting interaction and cooperation between the different groups

Description of work The workshop will be organized by JRA.2 participants with a programme committee including the WP leaders. A call for presentations will be issued within the NoE with a scope intended to cover novel aspects of traffic control and congestion control in the future Internet that emerge from the introduction of new technology, the development of new usages and the design of new networking paradigms and architectures. A major objective is to foster interaction between the JRA.2 workpackages and most presentations will be from members of the network. It is also designed as a means facilitate early dissemination the research results of the Euro-NF partners, however, and external participants will be invited. Following the successful model of similar events organized by Euro-NGI/FGI, the workshop programme will be supplemented by invited presentations from well-known external experts in this field.

The workshop will be organized every year, the first edition being planned for late 2008 at a location still to be decided.
